Breath is the base nourishment of life. Scientifically proven, oxygen, the nutrient carried on each and every breath, is the source of sustained well-being and health. Without learning how to sustain rich deep breathing throughout life, many of us will inevitably experience low energy, illness and disease. From a yogic perspective, breath is not only composed of oxygen, the nutrient required for every cell in your body, but the breath also contains "prana" or the rich, life force that keeps each of us energized and full of zest for life. This workshop will introduce you to the basic three part yogic breath, which is the basis of all breath training or "pranayama" used in Yoga. In this wokshop you will learn:
- Phisiology of Breathing
- Learn your Breath Volume
- Learn the Physical and Mental ques of poor Breathing
- How does Trauma affect Breathing? Learn about Psychological Guarding
- Practical application - Breathing Exercises
